The Law and Practice of Party Walls (3rd Edition)

In this book, Nick sets out clearly and comprehensively the law relating to party walls and how that law is applied in practice. While written primarily for the benefit of surveyors and solicitors, the book is also intended to be sufficiently accessible to inform anyone serving or receiving a notice under the Act, and the procedures that follow from such notices.

Where is my boundary?

This book provides an easy to read guide as to how property owners in England and Wales can go about working out where the boundary between their own and their neighbour’s property is.

Written for the layperson, it also provides valuable information for property professionals, particularly surveyors, who deal with boundary issues in their work. The book tells you which documents to review, what other evidence might be helpful or relevant, and how to avoid common, costly mistakes.

It also gives you useful tips on avoiding boundary disputes escalating into legal proceedings, and how to resolve such disputes if they have already gone that far.

The New Party Wall Casebook

The New Party Wall Casebook is a comprehensive reference for party wall surveyors, architects, engineers, and lawyers who work with Party Wall matters. Act 1996.

As well as a copy of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 cross-referenced to those cases, the book also contains relevant extracts from the historic London Building Acts, together with a table cross-referencing those extracts with their modern equivalent.
